HRA Land Review Phase 3 - Eagle Way And Anson Close Oct 2023
Since the last Youesay update (March 2023) the Council is pleased to announce that we have appointed Marfleet & Blythe to act as the main contractor for the development of Phase 3A. The contractor has a history of delivering high quality affordable housing within the City, most recently working with the Council to deliver four family homes in Saxon Gardens, two which achieved carbon net-zero standards.
The project has been split into two phases which are highlighted in the image below. The main contractor procurement process for Phase 3B (16 flats) will commence imminently.
The new dwellings will meet Future Homes Standards 2025 (which will require new build homes; to be future-proofed with low carbon heating, increased levels of insulation and improved energy efficiency) and to provide Net Zero Carbon dwellings.

The sites will remain fenced off until the main contractor takes possession of the site which is anticipated to be in Autumn 2023. The construction programme is anticipated to take up to 60 weeks.
The Contractor will be in contact with residents in proximity to these sites, and we will continue to issue newsletter updates as the project progresses.
