Phase 3 - Update (May 2022)

The main contractor procurement exercise for the development in Shoeburyness has been unsuccessful due to limited respondents, and concerns with the returns that were received. Therefore, the project team will be looking to re-advertise the opportunity in the coming months. Prior to re-advertising, the team are taking the opportunity to raise the specification of the dwellings, most notably to meet Future Homes Standards and to provide net zero carbon dwellings.

The heras fencing will remain in place until a main contractor can be appointed.
