Consultation has concluded
Healthwatch Southend wants to hear about your experiences of Pharmacy First. This is a scheme allowing community pharmacists to diagnose and treat seven minor conditions such as sore throats or shingles without patients needing to see a GP. This is part of the Government’s plan to improve access to primary care. Local people keep telling us about the problems in getting appointments with their GP, so we would like to know whether local people have heard about, or used, Pharmacy First. What you tell us will help us make recommendations to the NHS to improve the service.
We are independent of the NHS and Southend City Council, so you can speak honestly about your experiences, or views about using the service in the future.
Please share this survey with family and friends, if they live or work in Southend.
You could win a £10 voucher as a thank you for taking part.
The survey will be open until 1 November 2024.
Thanks for your help – your views can make a difference.
