Meeting has now taken place.

The increasing floods and drought seen across the country in recent years are showing us some of the impacts from climate change. We need to work together to come up with a plan.

Step into The Situation Room, where you will decide how to deal with issues such as flooding, water scarcity and coastal erosion. A series of videos will introduce you to the topic, and you’ll vote on different options to minimise the impact of climate change with your fellow participants. Can you create a successful strategy for your local area?

You don’t need any special skills or knowledge to take part, other than your valuable lived experience. As a thank you for your participation, we will offer a £25 voucher.

This project is funded by Defra as part of the £200 million Flood and Coastal Innovation Programmes which is managed by the Environment Agency. The programmes will drive innovation in flood and coastal resilience and adaptation to a changing climate.
