I'm having trouble logging in, what should I do?
You may have trouble because your email is already being used or the password is not matching what we hold. Please click this link to show you how to reset a password.
What type of projects can I get involved with?
You can participate in as many or as few as you wish, if you have registered and identified what you are interested in you will be send a notification when a consultation or project on that theme goes live.
Who can I contact if I need to discuss issues with a specific project?
On the right hand side just either above or below the FAQs you will see a 'Who's Listening' tab, these are the offices who are interested in the feedback on this selected consultation or project. You can email any of those listed for help, advice or further information.
How do I register with the site
You will see on the right hand side a button saying 'Register' click on that and fill in the form, the whole process should take about 5 minutes. Just make a note of your email and password for when you return and you are good to go.
Why should I get involved?
Where we live is important to us all and we want to make it the best place it can be and we cannot do that alone. We need your help to tell us about the issues, the positives and negatives on the subjects we are consulting on, it helps us to formulate improvements, projects and policies that are inclusive in Southend for all that live here and come to visit.
Will the site replace face to face consultation?
Your say Southend provides us with an exciting new way to consult and engage online. It will be used to complement but not replace traditional face-to-face consultation activities, including public meetings, questionnaires and meetings with community groups.
