Consultation has concluded

What do you think of the roads and transport across our borough?

We are one of over 100 local authorities to sign up to the National Highways and Transport Public (NHT) Satisfaction Survey. The survey asks members of the public exactly the same questions, wherever they live in England and participating councils can then compare results and share best practice.

The online survey has been opened for residents to share their views on highway matters in order to inform the council’s future planning. Please help us improve our local streets, roads, buses and cycling.

This survey is used by us to understand what residents think of our transport and highways services; what is good and what needs improving.

We want to hear from a wide range of people – whether or not you use these services.

The online survey is open to all residents (age 16 and over) and covers the following subjects:

  • Accessibility
  • Walking and Cycling
  • Public Transport
  • Road Safety
  • Tackling Congestion
  • Highway Maintenance

There are real benefits to conducting a public survey like this as it will enable us to find out what residents think about the highways services and discover which services they think should be prioritised and improved upon.

Transport East - Join us on our 2050 Journey

We are developing an ambitious Transport Strategy for the East of England, setting out a vision for a future of inclusive and sustainable transport over the next 30 years.

To make sure the Transport Strategy delivers positive outcomes for everyone, we want to better understand the views of local people. By being clear on the direction of travel, we can then focus on delivering a Transport Strategy to provide a route-map for this exciting journey.

Please take a few minutes to complete our short questionnaire. Your feedback will help us to identify the region’s priorities. This information will help us develop new transport policies and projects to make the East of England a better place to live, work, learn and visit.
