A Good Neighbour is someone who has a friendly chat with their neighbour or looks out for those living near them. They might offer to collect some shopping for their neighbour, or do some weeding or litter-picking in one of the public parks!
This is a page dedicated to Good Neighbours and all of Southend's residents.
Please take a look at the Good Neighbours guidance if you would like some more information that will support you to be neighbourly. If you're coming up against any barriers please contact your local support organisation.

Or just a virtual chat! Here you can have a public discussion with others in the Your Say Southend community who are using this page.
This is a good place to:
Ask questions
See what other Good Neighbours are up to and talking about in your neighbourhood
Help others find the answers to their questions
If someone has given you a helpful answer to your question, why not do the same for someone else?
We do not recommend sharing your name, address or contact details on here but there are links to other platforms on the right-hand side where you can make direct connections with your neighbours.

Hello everyone, I work as the Co-production Champion in Southend. Co-production means that residents like you and I can work together with the council and other services to make things be as good as they can in our town.
Asking people what matters locally is a great place to start co-production conversations and that's what I am hoping to start here.
Tell me what's on your mind about our town?
I'll tell you what's on mine. How can we help our high street become a brilliant place to be for all our residents? Especially now that so many shops and cafes are so badly affected by Covid19.
Does anyone know if this is still going ahead on Thursday? My next door neighbour just told me it stopped last week which is such a shame if its true :(
