    The SEND team is currently looking into the terminology we use for the children and families we work with. We currently use the term “hearing impaired” but this is often now considered outdated. We are therefore looking at what other terminology we could use instead. If this is a topic that is relevant to you, please vote for the term you feel would be preferable for yourself or your child.
