The parks and green spaces consultation is an opportunity to let us know what you think about the town’s parks, greenspaces and playgrounds. Parks in Southend have always been well regarded by residents. In recent times we have seen more people than ever visiting our greenspaces.

The consultation sets out to understand what people want to see in their parks and how they could better meet people’s needs. The feedback from the survey will provide the information needed to help plan for the future management and delivery of park’s services.

Please email placeconsultations@southend.gov.uk

    Toddler adventures

by LB1979, about 3 years ago
We are so grateful to have parks and playgrounds for our little ones-the joy and independence our toddler has in exploring them and meeting little friends there is priceless and produces us and them with many happy times and memories. What has changed in just a short time over the pandemic is their volume of usage so we need to ensure all children have access and choice in them. I want mine and others children to keep leading a healthy, active and outdoors lifestyle.

My memories of southchurch hall park in 50s /60s use the library there and museum. Always had different ducks, white and black swans. Lovely place back then to have a picnic
