1. What is the purpose of this survey?

    The survey aims to gather feedback from residents across the city to help inform future planning, services, and decision-making

    2. Who is conducting the survey?

    We are working with Enventure, an independent research company, who will be collecting responses on our behalf.

    3. How were participants selected?

    Participants have been randomly selected to ensure a fair and representative sample of residents across the city.

    4. How will I be contacted?

    You may be contacted by phone or approached for an interview in town. All communications will clearly state that they are on behalf of Southend City Council and Enventure.

    5. Is my data safe and confidential?

    Yes. All responses are confidential and handled in accordance with data protection regulations. Enventure will not share your personal information with any third parties.

    6. Do I have to take part?

    Participation is entirely voluntary. However, your views are important and will help shape future services and policies.

    7. How long will the survey take?

    The survey should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.

    9. When can I find out the results?

    The results will be shared with the public here in March 2026.
