Consultation has concluded
Home Care, also known as Domiciliary Care, are services provided by a Homecare Agency that support people who require care to live at home in the way they want. This ensures people can continue to live in their own home, within their communities, enabling independence, and to live a full life safely at home. Homecare services are currently provided by different care agencies across Southend-on-Sea.
Southend-on-Sea City Council are looking to recommission our homecare services, so it is important to hear people’s experiences, what is working well and what needs to change.
Below is a list of questions and should be completed by the person who is receiving the care at home service. A friend, family member or carer can help you complete the questionnaire, but the answers should come from the person receiving the care.
This questionnaire incorporates multiple choice questions and also free text boxes to allow people to comment in their own words.
The information provided will be dealt with confidentially and will help Southend-on-Sea City Council to improve the services that are delivered.
Survey closes on Wednesday 06 November 2024.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the questionnaire.
