Why does the consultation not include an option to keep the library where it is and as it is?
Following surveys and technical assessments of the aging facility, retaining the existing building in its current form is not considered a viable long-term option. For that reason, the consultation focuses on the realistic options available for the future of the library service, including the option of a new library on the existing site. |
