Being a Neighbourly Lot!

I always knew our road was friendly but during the last 8 weeks have really come to appreciate just how friendly and supportive we all are. My friend over the road started up a Good Neighbours group by posting a note through people's doors asking them if they wanted to start a whats app group so we could all help each other out where needed during the pandemic. We now have a very lively, fun group that looks out for each other on a regular basis. So far we've had some fun too..... putting up the bunting together, having a socially distanced VE party, supporting each other raise money for worthwhile causes, buying those 'in demand items' from the supermarket to share that have been hard to source (mainly loo roll and flour!) and now we seem to have regular Friday drinks outside!

I really feel like the group and community spirit is here to stay.
