The Marine Parade Scheme will be the first large scale, sustainable water management scheme in the city that will deliver a truly integrated and suitable approach to future water management, creating a climate resilient place. The scheme has the power to create a tangible impact, not only in terms of improving flood resilience, flood warning and water sustainability but also in terms of significant, social environmental and economic benefits. Improvements to public realm will see the creation of green and blue hubs and corridors, providing the public with areas to dwell, meet and engage with nature, thereby supporting the public health and wellbeing ambitions of the Council.
Consultation is open for 8 weeks and closes at 5pm on Monday 25th March 2024
