Area SEND Inspection for Southend-on-Sea
Southend-on-Sea City Council and NHS Essex Integrated Care Board received notification on 1 June 2026 that Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will conduct an inspection of local area arrangements for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) from 15 June 2026 to 19 June 2026. The Southend-on-Sea SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgeries. The sessions provide families with an informal opportunity to drop-in, talk face-to-face with professionals, and receive clear information and advice.
