Future of Southend City Centre – public engagement

Work has begun to form a new vision and action plan to regenerate Southend City Centre. The strategy will set a clear vision and series of actions to guide the future development and direction of Southend City Centre for years to come.

The aim of this work is to produce a shared vision for the City Centre, where all stakeholders, partners and residents can identify their role in delivery. The Strategy and Investment Plan which will help shape a practical plan to attract new investment and partnerships, ensuring that local growth is the goal.

Grounded in the Southend 2050 ambition for the future, this engagement event is continuing extensive conversations already had with those that live, work, visit, do business and study in Southend City.
