The future of Economic Growth in Southend

COVID-19, Brexit and changes on the high street have had a significant impact on the economic picture, not only in Southend but globally. As we look to economic recovery, Levelling-Up, the emerging Shared Prosperity Fund and a new Southend Proposition (joint economic growth and skills strategy) it seems timely to consider our areas of focus and what skills and interests we have in the team. 

The survey below explores what skills and interests you have and/or would like to develop. We know that most posts in the Economic Growth Group are externally funded and fixed-term contract; the survey will help us consider how we best retain and use the talent that we have in the team even where posts are short-term funded.

Your responses will be kept anonymous when we publish the findings of the survey but we are asking for your name so we can tailor packages of support or offer opportunities according to your specific needs.  It's really important you respond honestly and openly so that we can shape the work programme and develop the group and individuals within it.
