The partnership is made up of the city&rsquo;s strategic partnerships and organisations: A Better Start Southend, City Family, Essex Fire and Rescue Service, Essex Police, London Southend Airport, Metal, South East Essex Alliance, South Essex Homes, Southend Association of Voluntary Services, Southend Business Partnership, Southend Essex Colleges Group, Southend Tourism Partnership, Southend-on-Sea City Council and University of Essex. </div><div class="OutlineElement Ltr SCXW93491439 BCX8">The Partnership is aiming to refresh and strengthen the shared vision for Southend to inspire and motivate the city&#39;s residents, communities, businesses and organisations. Southend-on-Sea City Vision

<div class="editor">The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) wants to hear people&rsquo;s views on where they live, to help make sure that the new wards reflect the size and shape of local communities.An electoral review is being carried out to make sure that each local councillor represents about the same number of electors, and that the wards they represent reflect community identities. Following an earlier consultation with the Council, the Commission concluded that Southend-on-Sea City Council needs 51 councillors to be able to operate effectively. This is the same number as they have now.The consultation on this stage lasts for 10 weeks and closes on 2nd December 2024.
